Hollymoor Hospital


1950 Holymoor Hospital's gardeners looking after the large grounds that surrounded the site at that time. Many of the trees & shrubs still survive today on the new housing estate. In the late 1990's about 90% of the estate was demolished, with the remaining refurbished buildings used as a local surgery, dentist, chemist, children's nursery & church.
