Old Longbrige Rail Station Site in 2015

Undelivered Austin spares? Left over from the park opening ceremony? found under the disused rail bridge. The small tunnel on the left is for the River Rea, and above it was the pedestrian walkway, it's steel supports now rusting away. The new Longbridge Station was built in the 1990's.

Under the disused rail bridge found at Bristol Road South. Above used to be the old Longbridge Rail  Station. Trains would bring workers from the Halesowen area in the mid-last century. It was also the main hub for the Austin Leyland car factory for over 50 years.

I'm told they're left behind by The Arts & Lights Festival in October 2014.
